The Illinois Harvest of the Month program provides your school with a calendar of local foods that are available throughout the year. To participate, simply serve the monthly item in your school lunch when it’s time! Make sure that you mark that it is a Local Featured Food and give your students more information about the farm and farmer when you serve it. The Illinois Harvest of the Month program will also provide your schools with pre-written drag and drop text for your menu, student newsletter, daily announcements and more.
